After almost eight weeks of closure, we are now ready to welcome you back to Copenhagen’s ultimate shopping paradise. Every floor is restocked with this season’s best fashion, design and beauty from leading Danish and international brands, and our sales advisors are ready to guide you in your unique needs. Our customers are at the core of everything we do at ILLUM, and we are therefore doing our best so you can shop safely. Here you can see the precautions we have put in place to make sure your shopping experience at ILLUM is as safe as possible.
- ILLUM opens with reduced opening hours 11-19 all days of the week.
- To limit the fear of infection, we are opening at a limited capacity. ILLUM will allow a maximum of 2.080 in the store at a time. The number of visitors will be measured digitally at each entrance to make sure the number doesn’t exceed the maximum allowed.
- There is a maximum of one person or family per elevator, and we recommend using the escalators when possible.
- Cash payment is no longer accepted. If other payment isn’t possible, please take any cash to the Customer & Services Lounge in ILLUM UNDERGROUND.
- During beauty treatments and interactions longer than ten minutes our staff is required to wear a face visor.
- All beauty testers will be sealed off. If you wish you try a product, please ask staff at the Beauty Hall.
- We accept returns, and all returned goods will be placed in isolation for 72 hours before being placed back at the shop floor. Please notice your right to return has been extended with the number of days we have been closed.
- Restaurants and cafés including Skagen Fiskerestaurant, Rossopomodoro, Palæo, Original Coffee, Joe & the Juice, The Bagel Co. and Holms Bager will reopen Monday May 18th.
- The restaurants and cafés at ILLUM reopen for sit-in guests. Although not for parties exceeding the assembly ban of more than ten people.
- Guests eating together will be able to sit as normal, while there will be at least a distance of one meter to the next party.
- It is recommend that parties only consist of people who are in close contact already.
- The Baby Lounge on the 3rd floor will remain closed for now.

ILLUM Beauty Hall has been upgrading the selection for men with the renewed Men’s Lab. Here you’ll find international brands such as Shiseido and Clarins Men, among modern grooming brands such as Neville, Czech and Speake, Daimon Barber, Barberians and many more.

Our ground floor is bursting with luxury goods that will elevate any wardrobe. Drop by the refurbished Marni store, which greets you into an inspiring space embracing the Italian brand’s stylish and colorful accessories.

At the men’s floor you’ll find loads of new fashion from leading brands with a few add-ons since last. You are now able to shop shoes from the French fashion giant Balmain, or dress in the newest collection from the cool Parisian label Isabel Marant. Other brands the floor has welcomed includes A-COLD-WALL, Holzweiler and Zadig & Voltaire.

Marble floors and bubblegum shelves in an art deco vibe. ILLUM Shoe Heaven got a revamp and it’s for anyone who likes life to be a little extra and not so boring (read: every ILLUM customer). Go check it out for yourself. If your eyes don’t thank you, your feet definitely will.

The third floor is a mix of urban streetwear, travel articles and sportswear for people living an active lifestyle or just the ones who has been accustomed to sweatpants after two months or working from home. The other end of the floor offers kids toys and clothing from best brands out there. Safe to say; this is the floor all the cool kids go to.

ILLUM Design Atelier offers high-quality design for every part of your home. Whether you’re after classic decorations, lighting, ceramics, stationery or scents, you have to pay our 4th floor a visit. Are you looking for plants that will take care of themselves? Then have a look at our selection of Green Factory plant terrariums where plants live in their own ecosystems and only need watering once a year.
