Coffee table books keep your inspired while decorating your home too. Don’t miss a chance to win four of the best comtemporary ones.

With the past months’ lockdown loosening up, many are finding themselves having to adjust to a new normal; balancing work, life and continuous measures of physical distancing. And although it feels good getting back to routines and everyday life, lockdown provided a pace most of us have enjoyed encountering. Besides being a time of uncertainty, lockdown also became a time to reconnect with the things we often neglect. Time to enjoy with family, to learn new skills, relax, read, recharge and get inspired. These are some of the things we at ILLUM wish to take with us from the experience of a country in lockdown. To continue to make time to delve into books, look for new things and find inspiration. We are therefore giving away a set of four beautiful and inspiring coffee table books from ILLUM Design Atelier to look at whenever you take these moments to recharge.

The Touch by Kinfolk and Norm Architects

The Touch is the first book brought together by the long-term collaborators at Kinfolk and Norm Architects. The book explores the idea of good design not only being visually appealing but also sensory. Throughout 288 pages, the reader is invited into 25 striking architecture and interior spaces that exemplify how design can provide a richer quality of life. As well as stunning photography, the book also holds interviews with industry leaders.

Louis Vuitton Catwalk - The Complete Fashion Collections

Louis Vuitton Catwalk charts the long history of the French luxury brand that went from being an expert in making trunks and leather goods to a pioneering fashion house. It also gives a biographical profile of Marc Jacobs, who served as the first-ever artistic director of the house from 1998-2013. As well as of his successor, Nicolas Ghesquière, who’s at the helm of the house today. The book then goes on to explore the collections themselves in chronologically order, showcasing the spectacular clothes, accessories and beauty looks.

In The Spirit of Beverly Hills by Nancie Clare

When mentioning Beverly Hills, you’re probably thinking of luxury mansions, big cars and beautiful people. Beverly Hills is known as the epitome of luxury, wealth and beauty. And it’s exactly this heritage of the rich and glamorous that In The Spirit of Beverly Hills aims at exploring. The book features photographs as well as stories on the city’s history, residents and larger-than-life citizen.

Selected Works by Vincent Peters

Vincent Peters is one of the most in-demand portrait and fashion photographers in newer times. In this book some of his best black and white photos are collected in an ode to beauty - featuring celebrities such as Emma Watson, Charlize Theron, John Malkovich and many more. Peters is particularly known for his talent of lighting and details manifesting in his timeless work.
